Highlights from the annual RWC Conference

It was a pleasure for our team to attend the Ray White Commercial (RWC) Conference this week at the Gold Coast.

There was an amazing turnout with over 200 industry professionals in attendance to discuss the future of commercial real estate. Our experts shared insights and perspectives on the current trends and opportunities within the commercial real estate market, as well as strategies for success in 2023 and beyond. In this blog post, we’ll be highlighting the key takeaways from the conference.

Ray White Group managing director Dan White and RWC general manager James Linacre opened the day, welcoming members to the first day of the two-day event. The Keynote Speakers brought a wealth of knowledge and insights to the stage.

RWC Western Sydney managing director, Peter Vines, captivated the audience with his deep understanding of the market and his journey to success. He emphasised the importance of investing in high-growth areas, which is why he’s passionate about Western Sydney and the growth and development of the region over the next few years. Pete highlights the importance of being in touch with his clients and their businesses and what’s going on in their lives. Having a genuine interest in his clients and getting them a good result, echoing the sentiment that genuine care and dedication are the building blocks of lasting success.

“I also am in touch with a lot of my clients and their businesses and what’s going on in their lives. I have a genuine interest in my clients and getting them a good result, and I think my clients see that and they refer me to other people.” — Peter Vines

RWC Western Sydney director, Joseph Assaf, and one of the RWC network’s top performers, also provided a unique perspective on the importance of relationships and caring for his clients. He highlighted the significant growth potential in Western Sydney and the untapped opportunities for commercial property investors. His insights sparked a wave of excitement among attendees, as they realised the potential for their own portfolios in this burgeoning market.

“Cultivating relationships isn’t just networking; it’s nurturing a thriving ecosystem of trust. Referrals have sculpted the very foundation of my business, propelling me towards substantial listings and orchestrating transactions. Each referral is a testament to the bond we’ve built, where excellence begets excellence.” — Joseph Assaf
