Giving Back
At RWC Western Sydney, giving back isn’t an occasional obligation but the cornerstone of who we are.
Our team actively supports grassroots initiatives, local charities, and community organisations creating meaningful change throughout the region. From providing meals to families in need and sponsoring youth development programs to celebrating local athletic talent, we’re dedicated to nurturing Western Sydney’s growth and prosperity.
Because when our community thrives, we all thrive together.

Providing critical support to those experiencing homelessness and crisis across Greater Western Sydney. We’re proud to contribute by volunteering and supporting their food and outreach services throughout the year.

Education transforms lives — that’s why we’ve joined WSU’s Refugee Scholarship Program to help provide life-changing access to higher education for refugee students building their futures in Western Sydney.

In the spirit of giving, we chose to donate $20,000 to The Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal in lieu of client gifts. A small way to honour the kindness our clients have shown us — by extending it to families in need.

As part of our commitment to empowering local talent, we proudly supported Tina Rahimi — Australia’s first Muslim female Olympic boxer — on her road to the Paris 2024 Olympics. Her determination, resilience and grace continue to inspire us and so many others across Western Sydney and beyond.
We’re proud to support A Place at the Table, a Parramatta Mission initiative that brings people from all walks of life together to share a meal, foster understanding, and raise vital funds for those experiencing hardship in our community.
Last Christmas (2024), we contributed to Uniting’s Homelessness Team in Western Sydney, helping fund welcome kits, emergency essentials, and special meals for those spending the season in short-term accommodation. A small way to give back to the people who need it most.
A great morning spent training with Tina — a fun, energetic session that left the whole team inspired.
As part of the Push-Up Challenge, our team came together to raise funds and awareness for mental health — one push-up at a time. A great cause, an even better team effort
Rolling up our sleeves with Parramatta Mission — helping serve meals, sort donations, and connect with those who need a little extra support in our city.
Lending a hand to pack Christmas hampers with The Salvation Army — spreading a little joy to local families in need.

We’re proud to launch the RWC Western Sydney Scholarship at Western Sydney University — supporting an incoming student who arrived in Australia as a refugee. The scholarship covers full tuition for the duration of their degree, helping remove financial barriers and create real opportunity. Western Sydney is made stronger by its diversity, and we’re committed to building a future where education and inclusion go hand in hand.

As part of our commitment to youth wellbeing, we proudly support The Champions, led by mental health advocate Nic Newling. Through honest, lived-experience storytelling, Nic visits schools across Western Sydney to open up life-changing conversations around mental health. His work is helping the next generation feel seen, supported, and empowered to speak up — and we’re honoured to be part of that impact.

Each year on International Women’s Day, we make a donation to Parramatta Women’s Shelter in support of the critical work they do to provide safety, housing, and resources for women and children in crisis. Our team also comes together to mark the day with a shared lunch — a small but meaningful way to reflect, connect, and honour the strength of women in our community.
The team at RWC Western Sydney have been incredible supporters of our work here at Parramatta Mission. Their contribution has helped us continue providing meals, support services and care for those doing it tough in Western Sydney’s Community.
Having businesses like RWC Western Sydney walk alongside our mission means we’re not doing this work alone. It’s a reminder that the community cares. That there are people out there who see the value in what we do and want to be part of it.
Their support helps us keep going, but more than that, it lifts the spirits of our team and the people we help. It says, ‘You’re not forgotten.’ That means the world.
Thank you RWC Western Sydney

I recently had the privilege of attending one of Nic’s events, to say I left overwhelming emotional and proud to witness young people embracing his message is an understatement.
Nic Newling is a true champion. He’s helping to normalise conversations around mental health and reminding young people that it’s ok not to be ok — and that they’re never alone. By opening up this dialogue early, especially in schools across Western Sydney, Nic is creating a powerful ripple effect that empowers the next generation to speak up, seek support, and look out for one another.
We’re proud to support The Champions and the meaningful impact Nic is making in our community.
